Art has been part of my life since the age of 8. As a little girl, I could spend hours studying paintings by the great artists of the past. Drawn in by their beauty, of course, but even more by the feeling behind them. I loved the way a painting could hold a story, capture a moment, or make someone see the world a little differently.
That early fascination quickly became a passion. I was fortunate to have parents who encouraged me to take art classes after school, along with teachers who gave me a strong foundation and helped me develop my technique. With every new lesson, I felt more certain that creating art was not simply something I enjoyed, it was a part of who I was.
Life, as it often does, took me on a beautifully unexpected path. I married, moved to a new country, and soon became a mother. With new responsibilities came a new chapter. I stepped into the business world, where I built, competed, achieved, and learned a great deal about discipline, ambition, and what it takes to create success.
It was an important and rewarding part of my journey, but my connection to art never truly left me. Over time, I realized that the creative part of me needed to be allowed to take the reins again.
For me, a painting is much more than color on canvas. It is an invitation to pause, to feel, to remember, or simply to enjoy a moment of beauty in an otherwise busy day.
My work is inspired by the idea that art should live with you. It should bring character, warmth, conversation, and a sense of personal connection to the spaces we cherish most. Whether a painting evokes joy, reflection, curiosity, or a little bit of wonder, I hope it becomes something its owner continues to discover over time.
The artists I admired as a child taught me that art can travel far beyond the studio in which it was created. It can become part of someone’s home, part of their story, and perhaps even part of the memories they share with others. That is what continues to inspire me every time I begin a new canvas.
