ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Playful or mysterious, joyful or melancholic, full of laughter or quietly lost in thought. There is something about the harlequin that seems to hold all the contradictions of human emotion within a single character.

I wanted to move beyond the familiar sadness often associated with the harlequin and celebrate its playful, colorful spirit. I imagined a world where shapes dance, colors collide, and nothing needs to follow the rules. Bold patterns and unexpected forms come together in a composition filled with movement, energy, and a touch of mischief.

We do not always have to take life so seriously. We can be curious, spontaneous, imperfect, and wonderfully unpredictable. We can celebrate color, movement, and the simple pleasure of being alive.

The greatest freedom is realizing that, even when we cannot choose everything that happens to us, we can choose the spirit with which we meet the world.
