ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A feeling, a memory, or a faint impression. The details fade, but something stays with you. A warmth you cannot quite explain, almost recognizing it. Then an emotion returns when you least expect it.

What is that mysterious space between what you see and what you feel?

This highly textured abstract fluid painting is a collision of color. Broad ribbons of white and silver gray pour through the center, marbled currents of charcoal, slate blue, lavender, and blush pink twist and flow into one another.

Does it evoke a mood of beautiful unrest? Cool, contemplative stillness stirred by sudden waves of intensity. Fragile and dreamlike, while the deeper shades carry weight, mystery, and a trace of melancholy. Emotional heat, tenderness, longing, and a pulse of defiance. Fleeting reassurance, like warmth breaking through a difficult, shifting dream.
